Sciatica

Sciatica is distinguished by pain that usually starts at the low back region or buttock going into one or both legs. There is different intensity of feeling experienced having Sciatic nerve pain condition, it could be minimal pain to severe, frequent to constant. There is also numbness or weakness in the muscles, and sometimes difficulty in moving the leg. Sciatica is generally caused by compression of lumbar nerves or the sciatic nerve itself.

Having Sciatica may result in the loss of feeling or sensory loss, paralysis of a single limb or group of muscles, monoplegia, and even insomnia. This may be caused by misaligned vertebral bodies, bulging or herniated discs, tumors, pregnancy and childbirth, or even non-spinal disorders such as diabetes or constipation.
